Host a Foreign Exchange Student – General Information
When you host a foreign exchange student during their study abroad program you and your loved ones gain knowledge about different cultures, languages and people. There’s something quite rewarding about having friends throughout the world. Plus you’ll also get the satisfaction of knowing you have provided a once in a lifetime educational opportunity to a deserving young student.
We’ve achieved global status in the placement and recruitment of study abroad students, by proudly collaborating with educational organizations worldwide. The international agents carefully evaluate each students ability to communicate in the host country language. They assess the maturity level of the student to ensure the student is able to handle the changes that accompany being in another country.
The domestic student representatives act as a liaison between the student, host family and local school district and are trained to help make sure each student has the best possible experience during their study abroad term. They help the host family to choose an appropriate student and maintain contact with each student under their care for the entire program. Host families and student representatives are partners to ensure the success of the exchange student program.
