Most school districts in the U.S. begin the first Wednesday after Labor day. However a number of districts in the South do begin on the 3rd Wednesday of August. Please contact your local district for the exact date in your area. Ideally, your student would need to be here approximately 1- 2 weeks prior to get themselves acclimated to their new surroundings before starting school.
